Concept objective
The Challenge
Create a digital experience that captures the character of a unique waterfront pizzeria while making it incredibly easy for visitors to discover the menu, understand the experience and find the restaurant.
Design thinking
The Approach
For this concept, I focused on translating the restaurant's physical atmosphere into a digital experience — combining waterfront imagery, warm Italian-inspired styling, clear navigation and subtle interaction.
Simple
Make the important information immediately accessible.
Visual
Use photography to communicate the waterfront dining experience.
Warm
Create an inviting visual identity inspired by Italian food and hospitality.
Mobile-first
Design around the way customers actually discover restaurants on their phones.
UX / User journey
Designed around the customer
The website is structured around the questions a restaurant customer needs answered quickly: What is the food like? What is the experience like? Where is it? And how can I visit?

Visual direction
Italian soul.
London waterfront.
The direction combines Italian warmth, rustic waterfront character and a modern London aesthetic — editorial typography, generous whitespace and photography given room to breathe. An elegant serif carries the headlines; a clean modern sans-serif keeps menus and practical information effortless to read.

Image storytelling
More than a pizzeria.
An experience.
The imagery was selected to communicate more than the food itself. The water, the boat, the people and the pizza work together to tell the story of a relaxed waterfront dining experience.

Design details
The details matter
Small interactions and visual details were designed to make the experience feel considered without distracting from the food or the customer journey.
